Director of Modalities Department
Dr. Gabe Mash
The doctor who runs Crown's modalities department. He works with low-force, non-invasive technology that supports the body's own recovery, for problems that just happened and problems you have carried for years.

Meet Dr. Gabe
Recovery without the force
Dr. Gabe Mash earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, after finishing his undergraduate work at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio. At Crown he is the Director of the Modalities Department, which means the technology side of your care is his responsibility.
His focus is low-force and non-invasive: modern equipment that works with the body rather than pushing on it. That matters for patients who are too sore, too acute, or too apprehensive for hands-on work to be the first move, and it matters for the long-standing problems that have not responded to anything else.
Outside the office he is usually at the gym or spending time with his girlfriend.
What Dr. Gabe works with
Two technologies anchor the modalities department, and both are chosen for the same reason: they support the body's own repair without adding force to an area that is already irritated.
- Shockwave therapy. Focused acoustic waves aimed at stubborn tendon and soft-tissue problems, to break down scar tissue and stimulate the body's own repair response.
- PEMF therapy. Pulsed electromagnetic fields that support circulation, recovery, and cellular repair, with nothing invasive and nothing to recover from afterwards.
- Acute and chronic alike. The same tools serve a fresh injury and a problem you have worked around for years, with the settings and the plan matched to which one you are.
- Part of a plan, not a gadget. Modalities are used alongside the rest of your care at Crown, not sold as a standalone fix.
What to expect with Dr. Gabe
Your doctor will customize a treatment plan based on an initial exam, so the first step to get on Dr. Gabe's schedule is the same as it is for everyone at Crown: a real conversation and a real assessment. If shockwave or PEMF fits, Dr. Gabe will explain what the equipment does, what it feels like, and what to expect through the course of your treatment.
Both are non-invasive and low-force, so there is no downtime built into either one. If you are curious whether they suit what you are dealing with, reach our Fort Myers office and our team will help you find a time.
